Uncle Timmy was in NYC for business so Meg and I took a roadie to see the new Citi Field for the first time. Meg had a blast meeting Mr. Met and seeing the homerun apple again. Meg got to see the apple in action on a homerun by Jeff Francouer as the Mets came from behind to win 7-3 on a grand slam homerun in the 8th (Meg was tired and we were gone by that time!!). It was a great time seeing Uncle Timmy.

So glad Meghan got to go to a Mets game again and this time with her Uncle Timmy and Daddy. Having a picture with Mr. Met, wow!! She talked about it quite a bit yesterday when the girls were at Nanna and Grandpa's pool. I bet she fell asleep very quickly last night as both Meghan and Paige was in our pool from shortly after lunch until dinner time. I know I was exhausted!!!!
Good old summer, fun. Wish I could have been there too. Hope you had good seats with no overhang blocking the view like used to happen at Shea.
For the record, Paige was asked to go to but did not want to, when asked why she said "I just wanted to spend some time with mommy." We had a playdate with her friend Emily and had pizza from the Plum tomato, Paige's favorite. That's her kind of action.
Uncle Timmy had fun too. Drew can't wait to go next time. Love the pictures with Mr. Met (and Meg's pink Mets shirt!!)
