We have been very busy this last week before school started. My cousins kids from Vermont came for two nights. They are 11 and 9 years old. The girls had such a good time. We went to the beach and it was their first time ever swimming in salt water. They were surprised when it tasted salty and excited when I told them they were swimming in the ocean. I will get some pictures and post them. Then Auntie Chrissy came for a visit with Thomas and Alex. Everyone had a good time. And last but not least, an exciting day for all.........THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!! The neighborhood crew got together for the annual first bus ride. Everyone was in good spirits.

All the kids look spiffy in their first day of school clothes! Mommy is probably enjoying a little down time with Kaylee. Can't wait to hear all about being back at school when I see them next weekend.
I thought about the girls going off to school this morning. Where did the summer go. I know Meghan and Paige were both looking forward to their first day. I can remember when I took pictures of the neighborhood kids and they would walk as a group off to school with all the moms. I love the girls new haircuts. Glad they all had a great time with their cousins when they visited. Hope you had a great day Laurie....
